Applications Now Open: Curtin Ignition 2026

Applications are now open for the Curtin Ignition program, and the City of Fremantle is proud to sponsor a fully funded place to complete the program in 2026.

Curtin Ignition is one of Australia’s leading intensive startup programs. Delivered over a week in August, it brings together aspiring entrepreneurs and early-stage founders to test and refine ideas with real commercial potential. Participants gain practical skills in business modelling, commercialization, pitching and go-to-market strategy, supported by expert mentors and industry leaders.

Who can apply?

  • Residents of the City of Fremantle
  • Business owners based in Fremantle

Areas of interest
We are particularly interested in supporting ideas and businesses connected to the visitor economy, including tourism and creative industries.

However, we welcome applications from anyone with an innovative business idea, regardless of sector.
