Development Pipeline
Fremantle is undergoing a wave of public and private investment that is reshaping the city and preparing it for the future. Our development pipeline highlights the scale of growth underway and demonstrates Fremantle’s strength as a place to live, work, and invest.
A breakdown of estimated value across development stages is as follows:
Confidence in Fremantle’s Future
This development activity reflects strong confidence in Fremantle’s economy and its long-term vision. As the city embraces sustainable growth, new projects are:
- Delivering high-quality residential options to wrap around a growing population.
- Supporting commercial and retail investment that strengthens the local economy.
- Enhancing community and cultural infrastructure to enrich everyday life.
- Attracting innovative industries and new employment opportunities.
Investing in Place and Activation
The City will prioritise developments that respect and blend with Fremantle’s heritage and will invest in the public realm to ensure our streets and spaces enhance private development. The City will also deliver coordinated marketing, activation, and street-level initiatives to boost activity, attract investment, and support local businesses
