Investment attraction
The City of Fremantle’s Economic Development team highlights and promotes the city’s unique advantages as a place to live, work and invest. This includes positioning Fremantle’s strengths in the blue and green economies, tourism, culture, innovation and creative industries.
The team collaborates with key stakeholders including the Australian and State Governments, universities, and industry partners to attract investment and support business growth. Fremantle has successfully secured and managed external funding for major projects, including the Propel Fremantle Accelerator supported by Lotterywest and Spacecubed, and a range of initiatives that enhance Fremantle’s reputation as an innovative and future-focused city.
