City of Fremantle launches second round of Small Business Grants Program
The City of Fremantle has opened the second round of its 2026 Small Business Grants Program, continuing its support for local businesses during the Fremantle Traffic Bridge closure.
Applications are now open for retail, hospitality and tourism businesses located within the City of Fremantle. The program, delivered in partnership with the Fremantle Chamber of Commerce, offers grants of up to $2,000 to support targeted marketing activity.
Funding is designed to help businesses create marketing content and deliver paid campaigns across their existing digital channels, ensuring they remain visible and competitive during a period of changing travel patterns across Fremantle.
In addition to financial support, successful applicants will receive one-on-one guidance from a professional marketing agency appointed by the City. This support aims to maximise the impact of each campaign and build longer-term marketing capability within participating businesses.
The Small Business Grants Program forms part of a broader initiative to reinforce that Fremantle remains open for business, with a coordinated approach that promotes positive, business-led messaging and sustained visibility across the city.
Applications close at 4pm on Friday 3 July 2026.
Businesses are encouraged to apply early and take advantage of both the funding and expert guidance available through the program.
