LaunchPad Golf Fremantle: Teeing Up a New Era for the Public Course
Ground has been broken on LaunchPad Golf Fremantle, a multi-level golf and entertainment venue set to transform the Fremantle Public Golf Course into a year-round destination.
The $22 million development is being delivered in partnership with the City of Fremantle, LaunchPad Golf, and Belgravia Leisure, with construction led by Sarich Building. The City has contributed $3.2 million towards capital works at the existing 9-hole public golf course, which will remain open throughout the build.
The new venue will sit alongside the course, bringing a pro shop, upgraded amenities, and a food and beverage offering to the site. A connection to the neighbouring Booyembara Park will extend the precinct's appeal beyond the fairways.
Designed to broaden its reach beyond traditional golfers, LaunchPad Golf Fremantle will offer a technology-led social experience with extended operating hours — targeting social groups, families, corporate visitors, and tourists to Fremantle alongside regular players.
Construction is now underway with the venue expected to open in May 2027.
