Point Street: New Student Housing Coming to Fremantle's East End

Fremantle has greenlit a $107 million Purpose-Built Student Accommodation project that will transform part of Fremantle's East End into a contemporary living hub.

Developed by Sirona Urban and designed by MJA Studio, the eight-story mixed use development will deliver high-quality Purpose-Built Student Accommodation with modern amenities over its 220 dwellings and be positioned for direct access to the University of Notre Dame Australia, Fremantle Station, and nearby public open space.

The project is designed to foster more socially connected, active inner-city communities — activating underutilised city land and bringing more people to live, study, and spend in the CBD. Investment that will strengthen Fremantle's residential population and deliver long-term vibrancy to the East End.

Construction start date is to be confirmed.
