Session Focus: Blue Economy - From Idea to Impact
This session will explore one of the most important challenges and opportunities within the blue economy: scaling innovation from concept to commercial reality.
Featuring founders and industry experts, the discussion will examine pathways to market, strategic partnerships, investment readiness, and the role of research and collaboration in advancing ocean-based ventures. Attendees will gain practical insights into overcoming barriers, leveraging Western Australia's unique marine environment, and building sustainable, scalable businesses that deliver real-world impact.
Hub on SX Tour
Attendees are also invited to tour Hub on SX, the newly opened coworking space located within the Walyalup Civic Centre.
Those wishing to join the tour should meet Nicola Devonald, General Manager of Hub on SX, at the first-floor lifts at 7:40am.
The tour provides an opportunity to explore the new facilities and learn more about how the space supports entrepreneurs, startups, remote workers and growing businesses in the heart of Fremantle.
