Little Creatures Reopens After Major Harbourfront Redevelopment

13 March 2026

Little Creatures has reopened its Fremantle venue following a substantial $10 million dollar redevelopment that has reshaped its presence along the Fishing Boat Harbour. The project has expanded the site across multiple levels and introduced a broader mix of dining and social spaces, marking a new chapter for the long‑established brewery.

The redeveloped venue can now welcome up to 1,300 people and is arranged into four distinct areas. Cherub Hall functions as the main bar and central gathering point, offering relaxed seating and views across the harbour. A bright outdoor deck provides additional space for casual meals and drinks, creating an open and approachable atmosphere. A significantly enlarged kitchen supports the increased capacity. The food offering now includes wood‑fired pizzas, chilli mussels, rotisserie dishes and a range of share plates, reflecting a more diverse menu designed to suit both individual visitors and larger groups. The Loft, located upstairs, introduces a more elevated dining experience. Its menu leans towards Asian‑inspired flavours and is intended as a step up from the more informal options available on the ground floor. The space also offers a more intimate setting for those seeking a different style of visit.

This redevelopment strengthens the venue’s connection to the waterfront and refreshes one of Fremantle’s most recognisable hospitality destinations. With the updated layout, expanded food offering and new dining zones now in operation, Little Creatures aims to provide a more versatile experience for locals, visitors and long‑time fans of the brewery.
